My Queens won’t lay new eggs
Please help. I have 6 queens. I left them for a few weeks and I checked on them today. All the eggs have been eaten and no new ones have been laid. What’s happening and can I save them?

Ants update
Some of them have laid eggs. A few only have one or two, but two of them had four. One of the ones with four must’ve felt disturbed because they proceeded to eat their eggs. I want to punish them but it’s probably my fault, and I don’t want to hurt them. I wonder what I’ll do with the spare broods t...

Re: New eggs!!!
Nice. I caught my queens on the 24th. They haven’t laid any egg as of yet from what I can see, but I think I’ve been checking in on them too much. I shouldn’t do so more than once a week. Hopefully at least one of them will lay a few eggs. They way they live is both fascinating and yet a bit sad how...

Re: My camponotus novaeboracensis has eggs!
Congratulations. I myself caught quite a few queens of a species that nobody has IDd quite yet. If more than one produce workers, I might sell them. I’m just not quite sure how I’d go about selling them on the GAN. I don’t know if you’re able to sell single mated queens who have produced a couple wo...

Re: My camponotus novaeboracensis has eggs!
I know, right. My parents aren’t really interested, they’re more worried about having pests in the house so all I can use is a small scale ant farm, but it’s really interesting. I’m awestruck by the dedication all of them have to their colonies. Sure, it doesn’t help that ants are really my only opt...

Queen Ant ID? Found in Edmonton, Alberta yesterday, July 24
Hello. The other day was a Nuptual Flight and I managed to catch 6 queens. Can anyone tell me what they are? I tried uploading images to this site but apparently the sitewide limit has been reached and the site I want to use needs a phone number and the one I ended up using puts a massive watermark ...
