Hey guys, I live in New Mexico and have come across honeypot ant colonies. I am wondering if anyone knows the nuptial flights of honeypot ants and people's experiences of catching the queens. Hey guys, I have 2 queens laying now and was wondering if I should go for the specific hybrid nests or just get 2 omni smalls. What are your thoughts if you have used one or both of them? pictures are very nice :) bare with me here as I am new at trying to ID ants but I would say she is Camponotus cf sp But we shall see what the other more experienced ant keepers say. Good find!

After doing some research I would say Camponotus cf. pennsylvanicus
