A queen. It's hard to get an accurate ID with just one angle of it though, but the closest I could get is Lasius or Formica. Thank you!! I have another picture that I took that day maybe this angle is better? https://imgur.com/H3v9sln Definitely Lasius, most likely a Lasius neoniger queen. Thank you!

Dead ant with wings found in front yard, Vancouver

Hi guys!

I'm really new to the ants and I'm so glad that I found this forum!

Anyway, the other day I noticed a dead ant with wings at my front yard and I am not sure which species it was and is this a queen?
