Its definitely an alate, at the least. May not have mated, because its still got its wings. I don't know anything about the species though.

I honestly don't know, but if its been 6 months and still no eggs, Id guess camponotus, completely guessing though. May help others if you get some shots from the side. Good Luck!

At first I thought it was a crematogaster, but those nuptial flights happen in august, but weathers been super weird lately, maybe an anomaly? Anyway, if anyone can confirm the species from these crappy pictures I took with my shaky hands that'd be great. She has laid 2+ eggs already if that helps (...

Ok thank you. It definitely isnt a camponotus as it isnt big enough by a long shot. Looks fairly normal sized compared to most ants, just hadnt seen that shap before. Behaves strangley also. Like a spider in its movement. And a praying mantis in its behavior. It even reared back on its hind legs sev...
