Fed more tandoori chicken. But they only drank the water i had added later to moisturize the chicken. I saw some ants trying to tear the chicken to bring it back home but idk why jeffs never come to help. That is the entire purpose of their existence isn't it?

Re: Questions about my small Camponotus novaeboracensis colony.
I think this should be fine for now. Wait for enough ants that the water section gets completely covered with ants and then you would have to add another nest

Re: Diy Ant formicarium

The only thing is that it doesn't hold water as good so you will have to water the nest every day or twice a day for your ants to like it And yeah the neat is quite heavy but unless you are making it for a 1000 worker population an...

Re: non-stressful transfer
Don't stress it too much dude, sometimes it can be really frustrating if a colony doesn't succeed. I guess you could try to find a different queen species which would have much more survival rate like lasius. Also i would suggest that if you ever get some workers, try giving them more protein than s...

Re: Questions about my small Camponotus novaeboracensis colony.
My Camponotus Colony has 18 workers and 3 small majors. They are living in a Tar Heel Ants mini hearth. Do they need more room? Can you post a picture on Imagur and link it? That would help, thanks! Here they are and from 2 different angles. https://photos.google.com/ I think the link got cut off
