ok thanks the workers maybe dying of age because they lived like 5 months

i have a colony of carpenter ants that i bought a few months ago with the queen and 3 workers but 2 workers have died and no ants have hatched yet, i expect the first workers to come during spring, but can someone tell me what may be causing this? thanks

yes its a good idea actually there are some places where native ants have totally erradicated invasive ants so thats good

also i caught 5 solenopsis invicta queens

yes its a shame but they are everywhere i think they are the most powerful ants in my city they have even overwhelmed argentine ants but in some areas of my city native ant species are thriving which is good
