Red Formica Ants in Massachusetts
Hi,
I caught a queen which I believe to be Formica today, however I am unsure of the species of Formica. She is red with a black gaster and was captured in Massachusetts, USA. (I don’t have photos because I don’t want to disturb her) Does anyone know what species she could be?
Thanks

Camponotus Nest Temperature
Hi,
I have a reptile heating mat and a thermostat to regulate its temperature. I was wondering what temperature to set for my carpenter ant (camponotus novaeboracensis) colony. What temperate do they grow best in? Btw I live in Massachusetts.
Thanks!
