about 15mm.
She look like a camponotus decipiens.
It is not native to NYS, but we found it in a tree coming NC, which they are native.

Hello,
This year we capture a queen in Albany, NY.
We put her in a plastic tube test as we did not have a glass one.
This is will be our first colony ever.
To us it looks like a queen Camponotus.
Are we correct?
