I'm doing a paper about the cost of ant care, and I need to know how many workers are required to eat one gram of sugar and one gram of protein in an hour. Let's say they're tetramorium ants.

I fed the colony on Sunday with syrup covered mealworm and they certainly seemed to love it.

I'm no expert on camponotus, but I believe they like a wide array of insects. However, their favorite insects are likely termites and cockroaches.
