16-17mm in length, my guess is Camponotus but would like to know for sure. She also lost a part of her leg, can she still raise a colony? Thank you for the assistance! I had feared it was some kind of solenopsis, this being my first queen this year and all would have been extremely troubling considering I'm a beginner.

Hi I posted on this forum a few days ago (But I think the thread died) I got new a macro lens I found her Late May in Northeast Ohio she is approx 5mm long doing well found on a sidewalk late in the day (4pm)

I just measured him/her and it measures a little less than 5 mm long maybe closer including the wings
