UPDATE: She is doing great now, her legs and abdomen are mobile, albeit somewhat stiff. hopefully, she will recover and all will be well.

I have kept three camponotus queens and I don’t think the constrictive size of the tset type is such a big deal to them. They struggle a bit to turn around, but when they settle in they are usually facing the water most of the time. My queens have usually gotten sluggish when they start to get used ...

Thanks, I had the same thinking, but the size is what threw me off. She looks to be about the same size as a queen that I have.

Forgot to mention, they are avid burrowers. I've had to make the water cotton rather thick so that they don't flood themselves. Any IDeas? (Sorry about the pun)
