How many workers? You could try giving them a cricket leg or a small price of worm or grub. they won't need too much right now, but she will need more protein for the next batch of eggs.
Thanks for your input! I eneded up giving them a cricket leg and drop of honey and the gobbled it up.

When to feed my new colony

I have a Lasius Niger queen with a few workers and a bunch of eggs. Shes been in the tube for quiet a while and I was wondering if she or her workers will need any food prior to moving them to a smaller formicarium. I was going to wait until the water had diminished for the test tube to move her but...
