AntsCanada Forums Post Difficult To Follow - Sorting
Hello, I find the AntsCanada Forums difficult to follow because they are not sorting by date but actually all over the place. As an example. Please see my image below: (Taken From The Following: Main ACAF List < The AntsCanada Ant Main Forums) https://i.ibb.co/9VS9hpZ/Screen-Shot-2020-04-07-at-5-01-...

East Bay Ant Meetups
Any ant meetups in the East Bay Area?
It just rained today. Should be a good time to head out and look for Queens after Nuptial flights.
I am in the East Bay near Martinez, Concord, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek.
Any other ant enthusiasts out here?
Luke

Re: How High Do Ants Fly
It depend of the species. But you can be in a flight and don't see it, because the flying queens just look like any other flying insect. The best is to watch the ground, to see the queens before or after their flight. Thanks Lebenet, I really appreciate that. I probably have never noticed it before...

How High Do Ants Fly
Hello AC Fam,
I am new to ant keeping and also the forums. I was wondering how high are these nuptial flights so that I can keep an eye out for them. I don't believe I have ever seen Queen Ants Flying before, but I probably was not looking for them either.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Late Feb 2020 California Bay Area 3 Queens, 2 Species?
Where at in the Bay Area? I am new to the Forums and live in Walnut Creek. I wanted to find a Queen, but was not going to start looking until April - May, but if they are out and about, I might as well start talking some walks and see if I can spot any Queens.
Thank you,
Luke
