Re: How many times should I feed my ants?

Id say once every 2-3 days unless they seem to be constantly looking for food then i'd say about once every 1-2 days.

Re: Carpenter ant colony stopped growing

Sounds like hibernation to me. Is there perhaps anything else you think could have caused this?

Re: Should I make more ant keeping guides on specific species?

Formica or tetramotium mabye? Mikey already made a video about Tetramorium (but not the other species of Tetramorium that are semi-claustral which I already made) and I might need a lot of research for Formica due to it's diversity of species and some need certain requirements to found successfully...

Another ant died and i think it died yesterday. The weird thing is that the dead ant is torn apart!! The gaster is removed and dropped in the honey i gave them and the rest of body is thrown away! Is this normal would ants do that?

I noticed this with my camponotus ants. Glad I found out

I suggest starting out with easy species such as Camponotus, Lasius and Formica. Cephalotes are hard to keep and most beginners often fail with them.
I do not know what specific species in Florida but I have experience with camponotous ants and can confirm they are a great begginer species.

Re: How many times should I feed my ants?

For most species I would generally say a few times a week. Are they slow or fast eaters?

Do you have sugar? You could make sugar water.
