Hello there the colony only produce winged ants during spring (I can't remember the name of the thing) and they fly out and breed with other Queens and drones so no flying ants

Super worms are a good source of food for your ants but mealworms are better in my opinion I have fire ants for a few years sadly the queen died from a mite infection in the colony but meal worms were great but depends on what species of ant

I know this ain't on topic rn idk how to post one of those questions but can a Lasius niger be kept in Ireland?
