Cant of the little one. Poor girl was dead n my boy wanted to bury her. He was pretty upset.

Where do you find a jewellers loupe? Jewellers?

You don’t think they are?.. Do you have a guess as to what you think they might be? I just checked a different video i hadn’t seen before and they’re much bigger than my girls... got me thinking now.

I also think some of my Queens i caught yesterday may not be fertile, they have not yet broken their wings off.
Still a chance they could be. iirc she may lay eggs still, if they’re male elates then she’s infertile.

Yea i’ve found mist of that lookin through a few vids as well, thanks for the help though. I guess i’m trying to find something to quell my excitement while i wait. 😁

Pretty sure they’re dead, yeah. I don’t know if the green ant got to the other little queen i found bu she’s in the same state. Just laying still.

Iridomyrmex Purpureus

Hey guys, i’ve done a little snooping already but can’t really find anything. Has anyone got a link to (or similar) a guide on everything Iridomyrmex Purpureus? As much info as I can get in 1 place is kinda what i’m looking for. Any help highly appreciated.

Wow. Thanks for checking for me! Sadly i think the 2 little girls are both dead. Im going to let them go for another few days before checking on them but zero movement from either of them... although on a positive note the 2 big girls have both laid eggs! Super excited for their futures.
