I've noticed that mine isnt bothered by light and in fact followed the light so that right there can make transporting difficult. From what I can see make sure her test tube setup is nice and comfy and check on her every other week or so. Let her b comfy in her new environment. But I'm new so I dont...

Hey guys just to update I have a picture although it's an godawful one here and it looks very similar to his and it's probably a little smaller maybe 6 mm long. As said before I believe it's a type of solenopsis species

I think I caught something similar 2 days ago I think it's a slonopsis species but I'm not sure which one. It looks similar tone but mines a little smaller with a faster slightly smaller than yours.

Thank you so much. I will try to get a test tube to transport her into. I believe she is mated because when I caught her she refuses to fly and one of her wings is browning and looks like it's about to separate soon. This is amazing to hear and I hope to get a picture of her soon that is good enough...

Found ant in delaware October 15

I found a queen I think is a solenopis species because of the hair features and its thorax and jaw structure seems like a common ant. I live in delaware and found it in my bathroom. Please help me identify it. I'm incredibly new and have never had an ant farm. I want to do my best. She seemed tired ...
