2 more things:
Does the queen still have wings? that's unusual, if she's mated, and laying, usually they drop them.
Also, it looks to me like time to move her out of the tube, and into a nest chamber with an outworld. they look like they're getting a bit crowded in there.

Looks like Camponotus pennsylvaticus to me, but it's is difficult for me to say for sure without a taxanomic key, microscope and specimens or a lot of great macro photos. The timing of the capture aligns nicely with that species's usual queen emergence. I just captured one myself 2 weeks ago here in...

I believe it depends on what concentration of fluon you are starting with. if you buy the thicker stuff, definitely dilute it. I think the stuff from BioQuip is supposed to be pre-diluted and ready for use, but you can probably pour a bit into a smaller container and dilute it further if you like th...
