Re: I need help identifying this species

I'm thinking it was a protein deficiency as it took almost two and a half months to get my first workers and my queen only went for the sugar water like I expected and she was a species that are a common "pest" in my neighborhood in Carson city nevada

Re: I need help identifying this species

I just found my queen and her two newly hatched workers all three with eggs in their mandibles dead, I knew that I needed to change her water within the next few days so I decided to check on her and that's when I found them.

Re: I need help identifying this species

Yeah she did then I just had a catastrophic failure of the test tubes set-up I went to check on her and the test tube had started leaking into the living area. I transferred her and as many of the eggs I could see into a small formicarium hopefully the sudden move wont spell disaster.

I found this girl in my bathroom I'm assuming that she is a major but I still would like to know what species she is. Found in Carson City Nevada. Will post a picture when I get to my laptop.
