Might need to clean formicarium
So my ants recently moved into their new camponotus hybrid formicarium and brown liquid puddles have began to form. I'm unsure what to do, will the ants clean themselves or will I need to take the glass off and clean it myself. Keep in mind it is a pretty big colony

Also quick update
I think I might have just made a mistake, I fed my ants a beetle (100% not a stink bug) but it stinks. Like, bad. The smell is contained to the container but I'm not sure what to do

Weird brown liquid in nest
I have recently seen this brownish liquid with the consistency of honey inside of my nest. It's also caused my nest to be a bit humid which the ants have embraced. What is this liquid? If I have to do something how should I go about cleaning it?

Urgent advice
My ants seem to have hairlike follicles growing on them, I'm not sure if it's new, whether it has been there, or if there is a source but if anyone knows what it could be let me know.
(For all I know it could just be hair and I just haven't noticed)

The ants won't consume more than they need, so you might actually be feeding too much. No, I live in Florida and I was ...

I gave them mealworms and cricket and they ate a small amount of the mealworms. It's hard to find stuff online that isn't pest control posion, any id...

Re: Welcome to the Camponotus Crew!
I think I have only one more beginners question, how often do I give my ants food/honey and how do I change/give them water while they live in the test tube setup?
