there is a glue that you can use to contruct your terrarium. It forms a 'weld' for lack of a better word between the panes as it chemically binds them together. Hello all, I am new to ant keeping and to the forum. This season I was lucky enough to find my first black carpenter ant queen. I have her in a test tube set up. She had 3 nenantics when I checked on her this past Monday, but by Wednesday all 3 had died. The queen seems to be OK, still has a 4 eggs...

I would suggest Camponotus, although still take precautions against escapes in case they somehow get out and chew through a wooden desk or something and nest there. :lol:
They don't chew through treated wood though lol
