Caught a flight of camponotus pennsylvanicus on 6/6/19 after a rain. Caught 6queens from the flight after they landed. And could have had more but ran out of containers! Live in western Ky, Paducah to be exact. Good time to be out for camponotus.

So I went back out today and caught another queen (hopefully not a male alate) the last 2 pictures linked are the queen and I’m having trouble identifying. Lasius interjectus actually looks a lot like it. I think you may be correct with that. I will try to get some better pictures tonight and will upload them. Thanks a lot!

I just caught this ant today in Kentucky 5/30/19 and need help with identifying it.
