hmm.. well im in the UK so i wouldn't exactly say its baking. Surely they'd move out of the sunlight and go in search of water? But so far they don't seem bothered by anything i watched them this afternoon and they didnt move once or act concerned. I think a second worker will be ready any day now, ...

Thanks! Didnt think to try sunlight, seems obvious now you mentioned it! :) Currently got them on the windowsill, so we'll see

Queen not moving to new test tube

I have a Camponotus queen and 1 worker, still in their original test tube but it's getting quite moldy. I've connected up a fresh tube, covered it and lit up the old one but after 5 days they aren't moving. Am i best to keep at it or could i risk stressing them too much if they don't want to move?
