I believe this is mymica but I’m uncertain on species. Possibly Americana. Any other thoughts? Background info: -found Indiana under rock - size is 4mm for worker -Queen is roughly same size but tad larger -no stinger present - 2 spikes (see photo) -color is red brown and some of the workers have a ...

Any worker ID (genus)

Size - 1/8”
Location - Midwest USA
Other - Queen is not much bigger than workers. Body is red and head/abdomen black.
