Re: 7/29 WA state, tiny black ants
They were found mainly on pavement, though due to the size I'm not sure if I'd see if they were in grass. I can confirm that they're ant nests that live between cracked pavement near one site I caught the queens.

7/29 WA state, tiny black ants
Found the queens, like 40 of them and all are producing eggs. I accidentally left the first few together and noticed they were cooperating to take care of brood. I have an idea on what they are but want a few extra opinions. [ https://youtu.be/fjjMFoZgGc8 youtube][/youtube] https://youtu.be/fjjMFoZg...

I actually just had this problem. I've been using baby powder and rubbing alcohol for two years on a massive colony in a two gallon tank. After moving them into a ten gallon I found my ants all over after one night...that morning after 30 or so ants being plopped back into the tank I resolved to put...

Update on injured queens and transferring brood
This was my old post https://forum.AntsCanada.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=13242 Sadly both queens passed away. But out of I I have a weird development. So both queens had workers (4 & 1). My surrogate queen again only has one with about 5 on the way. Now in a previous time I accidentally put a non colo...
