Re: queen ant randomly died?
I can't give you an accurate as to how it happens but with the death of the queen comes the fall of your ant colony. I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

Re: Wanting help on identifying unknown bug
There are a lot of bugs to start and some of them are alike.
I think we will have a hard time figuring out which one are you referring too. Try to wait for other members answer.

Make sure that you did some research for building an ant colony, it is not that easy to take good care of ants.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss, I feel like it's the cricket but I am honestly not that sure since there a lot of factors that have lead to its death. I hate to say this but workers will also die after a period of time.

Re: Should I feed living food to my ants for science? Lasius Niger.
I don't think that it's a good idea to feed ants with a living animal, I know for a fact that they do eat dead insects but not to a moving worm.

Re: My queen ant died and 50 workers are still alive what happen next?
I am so sorry to hear about your lost, I guess the best way to do now is to release the remaining ants as reproduction won't happen when the queen died.
