So the second photo of Ant #1 is actually Ant #2.. Good evening, Whilst having a wander this evening I came across a small nest with a mound 1 -2 inches across and a single entrance on a dirt road next to some scrubby jungle. Well see that's interesting, because Antwiki says C. planatus has small colonies and is exquisitely arboreal.This colony I'm pretty sure is living in my wall (concrete) and has a good thousand workers (I don't know if that's 'small' I know that some species can number up to the millions per colony) ...
