sadly she died after the workers brought her back into the nest i was at work so i don't know what happened but i noticed she was missing 3 legs which was bad. i had been trying to change the conditions of the nest before this and just couldn't figure it fast enough.

queen ant in the outworld

My Solenopsis invicta queen of a colony of about 50-75 worker has been out of her nest and in the outworld for a couple days now and i don't know what to do the workers have tried to get her back in. I wanted to see how it went but at this point it is a danger to her how do i get her back in

Hi Community, I believe I found another ant specifies near one of my neighbor's property and I believe they're different than the ones I found last month. Can someone ID them? i would say Tapinoma melanocephalum but the workers of it are 1.5mm

I'm kinda stumped the closest id i can give is that it could be Dorymyrmex insanus as it is 6mm and looks to be correct but to confirm look for a single spike(cant remember how to spell actual word) in between the thorax and abdomen. better pictures would be helpful but if it is the quality of your ...
