Thank you for your advise, but today I found her dead. Can anyone tell me what i did wrong? She had air,I could smell freshness from her setup when i opened it, and i could feel the water on the other side of it with my finger. Her temperaure was just like outside temperature. Okay she's definitely mated she now hasn't got any wings. Should i take closer pictures of her? Will i disturb her too much by doing that?

Today I was riding my bike and found something i'm almost 100% certain is an ant queen. She had lost a wing (probably she ripped it off) and i brought her home. I found her in Croatia, Zagreb. She is kind of red, on the spots that connect her abdoment torso and head. Also she has red eyes or atleas...

What is this ant queen? Croatia Zagreb

Today I was riding my bike and found something i'm almost 100% certain is an ant queen. She had lost a wing (probably she ripped it off) and i brought her home. I found her in Croatia, Zagreb. I think you're right!After closer examining,i realized that i didn't consider their antenae into count with their size,so they're actually about 5 mm long!Thank you for the reply! :)

I'm not an expert,but I know a thing or two about ants and that ant is a male,didn't get a good look at it's head,but still sure it's a he...If he didn't die yet,he probably didn't mate yet,but you can still release him maybe it's too late because their nuptial flight is over but there's still hope ...

should i put them outside?Will they die if the temperature changes so quickly?should i change their temperature celsius by celsius to match the cold winter outside?Will they die if i just let them be in this warm house temperature? I'm sorry for all these questions,i'm just really worried :?

I forgot to mention:they're about 3 mm long and their abdomen is covered in white strips.They're very calm.Can someone plz help,they are refusing food and drink.The only thing they're consuming is honey.should i be concerned?Is it because i accidentaly interrupted them while hibernating?If these que...
