ants Dakota, I guess you could keep them in your garage as long as it isn't too cold. Make sure to put somthing warm thier if its too cold.

olst 1207, your doing every thing fine. If the eggs are scattered and the queen does'nt seem to care for them, sadly it is not a fertalized queen. when the eggs hatch, there will be male ants, not workers. :( :( :( :( :( This is because your queen didnt mate yet. Gender for ants depends on the numbe...

I have a "unknown" species of ant in my test tube setup. I found out that it was a queen but its not laying a single egg.
It is mid October now and its 3 weeks after capture. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have caught an ant with a wing on a sunny day in mid September while I was digging. Then, it lost its other. I put it into a test tube setup and its not laying eggs. I don't know what species of ant it is. Please HELP!!!
