If you haven't already taped moldy and new test tube together do this first. Don't force them. You can wrap new tube to make dark be careful using a light and burning them. Do crematogaster Scutellaris like tight space? Thinking I need to create a smaller space for her to start laying again. She laid many in small tube. Now living area is bigger and she hasn't laid in a while. I can connect the size she liked.

Most of my test tubes were too small and could only hold smaller amounts of water. This created problems for keeping over long periods, always running low on water. They are about 1 year old. Had 4 queens and I'm down to 1 but she seems strong and now has a pretty good set up. Lots of water small feeder box and another feeder tube.
