Hey everyone,
I caught some ants today and I am still new at this. Could anyone help me out with an ID on them? They were caught in Rawlins WY July 25. Here are a few pictures. These were all caught in the same area.

Winged Ants In The Nest
I caught a few winged ants in a nest yesterday after I turned over a rock. Have they been fertilized? I have a feeling no.

@bowzerslayer Do you live in WV? I am looking for a queen. Think I could still find one at this time of year? I am in WV. In fact, I'm the GAN farmerin WV (Morgantown). Can I Still Catch A Queen Right Now In West Virginia?
So, I am new to ant keeping. I have keep a lot of other types of animals and a few different insects but never ants.
I am currently living in West Virginia attending a PA school out here. I am wondering if it is too late in the neptial season to catch a queen.
Do you have any pointers?
