I can't get to good of a measure but its looks about 1/4 of an inch in length and 1/16 of an inch in width

Ant id request
I caught 2 queens of the same spices and I want to know what they are and if I can mix them (yes I know that black ant is a male I let it go once they were done doing it) I caught them in Maryland USA in March both of the pics are the same ant the lighting is just different http://i1248.photobucket....
