Fully claustral queens should not be fed unless they have serious setbacks (eating their brood multiple times) Provide your colony with an outworld (drinking straw method) when the first worker ecloses. My question is when should i start feeding them in test tubes, is it when they have their first workers or later or before because i dont believe they can sustain themselves till they are ready to move in the formicarium

Need adivce what to do with colony
Guys i just got an exotic colony, didnt know it was exotic until i got it and the guy told me the species, i heard from antscanda its not ok to keep exotic ants, should i kill them or what should i do, the species is diacamma rugosum. kind of having a moral dilema here.
