I found these 2 beauties on August 10th, 2018. Through extensive research I believe them to be Formica Subscericea, but since Im a first time ant keeper I don't have any real experience to back me up

Upon close examination and intensive research, I have come to the new conclusion that the species is Formica Subsericea

No matter what photo I send it says that the file size is too large. Any way to bypass this? In the meantime, they were both located in the Portland Metrostate area. Both are a shiny jet black coloring with a silver shine to their exoskeleton.

Queen Ants Identification Help
First time ant keeper here. I recently caught two queens of what I believe to be tetramorium species e, but since I am a first-timer I don't really have a lot of experience to back me up, so looking for a second opinion. Or more than that.
