New Formica Subsericea Queen (Supposedly)

How do I care for this queen? Does it have any special properties? If anyone feels like debunking this species guess. Here's some info: She measures 1 cm; I caught her yesterday in the afternoon; Here are some pictures: https://ibb.co/hN1xAp https://ibb.co/czJYy9 https://ibb.co/jNToGU https://ibb.co...

Species identification

So I just caught a new queen while looking for workers for my social parasite. This new queen measures exactly 1 cm from abdomen to head. She kept running spasticly in the test tube setup and I took photos when she calmed down. I tried to take the best pictures possible. https://ibb.co/dj4j5p https:...

Re: Queen ant identification

Here are some way clearer photos. (the light is tinted green so I'll describe the color scheme) The thorax is a very dark red (probably visible in the eight blurry photos). The rest is black and the abdomen has slightly transparent stripes. https://ibb.co/iY5qT9 https://ibb.co/iySb1U https://ibb.co/...

Queen ant identification

So I caught this one on august sixth (it was raining on the fifth), in Quebec. I can't tell if it is a queen or not, nor the species. I took multiple photos but they're kinda blurry (sorry about that), it measures ~1 cm in length. https://ibb.co/czNTWU https://ibb.co/bt10d9 https://ibb.co/nR9xQp htt...
