In about 3 days i will be leaving on holidays. Does anyone know of how to maintain an ant colony while not there?

I recently got a iridomyrmex so. (biknelli i think) and it finally has brood... just wondering when I should start feeding it and in what intervals?

Couldn't you just have two tanks surrounded by water and have one on each side?

I found a lot of small black alates and an iridomyrmex one on some bricks. Also, do ant colonies go hyper when it is nuptial season or is that just the rain?

do you know what species on campanotus it is?

this is the picture of the ant

It walks in a straight line and has a tendency to curl up its abdomen. It doesn't move much in its test tube setup.

p.s could you also tell me if it is claustral pls ... thx
