I thought it looked like Prenolepis, specially the workers, I guess caught in April makes sense too. :o

Identification of multiple queens /embedded pictures

All found in Slovenia/Central Europe 1.9 cm - Black head and thorax - Dark red abdomen Found in early August in a mountainous region (Trenta). Hello, they are looks like those I found. The black one is I think Lasius niger, and the orange one is probably Formica rufibarbis but I'm not sure.

From central europe found in june and july.
