(before the sun rises I switch my LED to red and remove the cover off the viewing side) I wonder if she can see in Red, because she reacted to my peeking, leaving her clutch to pace, I will continue to leave her be weeks at a time just in case. (it could be my LEDs are...

Re: Forelius pruinosis Journal(my dream species)

I just peeked in at my queen. (before the sun rises I switch my LED to red and remove the cover off the viewing side) I have been putting 1.5mls of water into the hole twice a week, because she has no access to water otherwise, seems to be working. There are a lot of exotic pet conventions, so many that some hyper focus (just birds, just herps, et cetera) has anyone seen ants represented, obviously not queens or whole colonies because of legal issues (and stressed to death) ...

Re: How long can I keep a queen?

give her a damp cotton ball so she has access to water without drowning danger. (you will probably notice her latch on an never let go, it might dry up, snd you will need to add another.) provide her with air she should be fine, if she dies, it will likely be because of stress, this is a stressful s...

Re: Forelius pruinosis Journal(my dream species)

So I haven't seen a worker in a long while, Even if I turn on the red light to look in at her, she seems alone. (she does have a clutch of eggs, YAY!!!) So I disconnected the tupperware outworld and attatched an alternative water source straight into the hose. (a lot closer) I then cooked the subst...
