Hi all So sadly my Lasius Niger queen has died during hibernation :(. There are around 15 workers and some unhatched brood still there. The person i got her from has sent me another without workers and with plenty of brood. He believes i may have some success introducing the workers to the new queen...

So i've just moved my lasius niger colony (very small) test tube setup to my parents garage where it's a nice temperature for hibernation. A little late i know but i'm hoping it'll be fine.
