Bit hard to tell from these pictures and without measurements... but i'm guessing Formica sp. I have never measured an ant before. Could you explain the process so I dont stess them out too much? I just put a piece of measuring tape underneath the test tube the queen is in and then look down on it....

Way too small for Lasius niger but i do agree that it is probably a Lasius sp.

Formica requires photographs of the gaster showing off hair coverage of each tergite. Myrmica generally requires microscopic examination, so you will almost never get an ID through photographs over the internet. That's alright, i'm already happy i got the genera right ;) I might attempt another pic...

Can i assume from the overwhelming lack of replies that i was right in my ID's? :lol: I would say so. The second is identical to the two Myrmica Rubra queens I have. I am far from proficient at IDing but to me it looks like:
Queen 1: Tetramorium sp.
Queen 2: Lasius sp.
Queen 3: Formica sp.
Queen 1: Tetramorium sp.

Looks like a Lasius sp. to me. Possibly L. niger but can't be sure on that

Camponotus pennsylvanicus is an american species and not likely to be found in Sweden.
My guess would actually be a Formica sp. especially when looking at the workers in the first pic.
