myrmica rubra queen?
I found a queen ant that is approx. 6mm in length and has 2 petiole parts. I found a similar looking ant from an established colony from about a block away that stings (personal experience) and builds shallow nests under wet rotting logs. https://drive.google.com/open?id=14hqdGkmU58jfxC4Gn5yaSRQdCuF...

Re: Can ants climb glass walls?
Most ants can climb glass. Myrmica Rubra can definitely climb glass (I know from experience). I normally assume that my ants can climb so I always but a layer of babypowder or Ant-i-slip just to be safe. Myrmica Rubra won't be a massive problem as I find they try to stay away from houses as they li...

Can ants climb glass walls?
Can tetramorium immigrans climb glass walls? There are also invasive myrmica rubra colonies in my area and can they climb walls? I know that they build nests on the ground and are mostly terrestrial but don't want them killing my pets. (nano fish, pavement ants, red isopods)

Re: Identify these queens
the queen doesn't look like a camponotus spp. to me. I feel like it might be either lacius spp. or formica spp. to me. Formica polyctena comes to mind but I'm not sure.

Re: Please identify queen ant
Knowing the exact species will help a lot since according to AntWeb 68% of the 98 species found in my region belongs in the Formicinae subfamily.
