The formicarium setup is just a normal antscanda formica hybrid nest, very lightly watered, and some sand in one corner that they have been using to block off certain areas

My camponotus novaeboracenis are not moving trash out of the formicarium setup, they are numbering in the 80-90s and recently the first super major eclosed. I am concerned about the buildup of trash in the more humid areas of the formicarium, I cant clean it out and I tried to introduce springtails ...

Maybe you have wild carpenter ants in the home and you are finding those. :? Just a thought. I have some camponotus ants and Vaseline works for me. Good luck. M.
