Re: What should I move my new ant colony into?

They are still in a test tube (5 workers) and are believed to be tetramorium. What I meant is, after the colony has 20 to 30 workers do I move them into an outworld first or a hybrid nest first?

need advice on how to move a queen out of a test tube.

The test tube setup is filled with an unsafe amount of mold. How do I safely move the queen and her brood?

Help unsafe amount of mold in testube

What is the best and safest way to transfer this queen and her brood? About 80-90% of the cotton is covered in mold.

Re: Help ID-ing 7 specimens

I think the first two might be a Pogonomyrmex ant species they have the psammophores (ant beards). batspiderfish is the expert though so take his word over mine.

Re: Florida Ant Queen Identification

Give the first three food they don't look claustral the gaster is very thin. Do not put too much food see if they eat it.

Camponotus sansabeanus/Camponotus semitestaceus that's my best guess. That camera is very good I wish I had one.
