You could try and catch a Black garden ant or a carpentor ant. The Black garden ants grow faster and are easy to take care of whiles the carpenter ants grow slowly and may take a while to grow into a big colony.

I was wondering as i have found lots of nests but never a queen seperately. Is there anyway to make the whole nest evacuate (including the queen) and move somewere. As they are moving i could catch some workers and the queen. Is there anyway to make that happen? Is there anyway to make them evacuate...
