I just have a quick question,
I have a Collony of L. niger that I will soon move to a home made AAC nest, and I wondered if L. niger usually prefer more drier or humid nests?

Easily Leafcutter ants, Then Trap-Jaw ants, and weaver ants! I also believe hat Diacamma queenless ants are unique too, Rainbow ants also have a unique look, i's a hard choice

Hello! Photo time today :D All queens were doing great, especially The Lasius niger queens! Need Help with ID For These Queens

Hello! Today (15/08/18) i found these queens, They are all just under 8 mm, They were found in Stockholm, Sweden and the Nuptial flights seemed to be ongoing or had just passed as they were alot of winged alates walking around, One of the Queens had a smaller gaster, i think this might be a sing of ...
