I would say judging by the temperature most queens have already started their colonies and are currently in hibernation, so I think you are a but late. You may be able to find some in Florida but it is illegal to take ants across state lines. I would say your best bet would be to check out the GAN p...

Polygynous carpenter ants

I was wondering if camponotus xyloni is polygynous because I would really like to see if I could combine my 2 queens they are so cute! And I want them to be together :)

I was looking through some carpenter ant species native to Utah and I've hear some are single queens and others are multiple I was just wondering which ones are polygynous

I like tetramorium (they are my only species thus far) they are very fast and small

Only one species

So I have been trying to catch a camponotus modoc queen here in Utah but all I keep finding is more and more tetramorium queens and I think it's just unluckiness but do you guys have any tips?
