Good to know thanks! It's a shame this is the only species in alaska. But oh well this particular species grows faster than most camponotus from what I understand. I've been told that they tend to get their first worker in just a month and a few days!

All of you should just start your own post and actually embed the pictures in your post. This is why you haven't had anyone give you an answer. If you need to know how to post a picture there is a stickied post on how to do so.

I meant more specific to these. I'd imagine they have some differences considering its covers in snow 60%of the year. Camponotus herculeanus seems to have fast development. 10 of my queens of this species all got their first workers in 1 month 10 days. Thanks for the info! She's in her test tube an...
