I caught this queen (14mm long) in Greece on the 21/06/18 however it wasn’t during a nuptial flight. I found them on Aegina Island on 12th June and saw a couple more on the 23rd. I also found a Camponotus Queen (not sure on the exact species yet) on the 21st June but I dug her out of her founding chamber so not sure when the nuptial flight was although I did see another Queen with wings still on an...

I think they must be Nylanderia vividula then, which I’ve read is polygynous. That’s great news, I can keep them together then

I have made a DeviantArt account and uploaded 4 photos there. Hopefully the quality is good enough for an ID. One of the pics has a Lasius Niger queen in it for size comparison.
