Re: My queen has abandoned her eggs. Help.
I imagine she is getting air in there... despite the tape/etc?
Anyways --- if she's still alive, she obviously is... I'd recommend covering her with a dark shirt or something and leaving her alone in a room that isn't air conditioned, basement maybe? (if you have one).

Re: Any ant keepers in Ohio?
So... apparently today was a Formica nuptial flight extravaganza. In Columbus, I caught 21 queens today. 19 are Formica. I’m unsure of the other 2. I’m more than willing to share (for free) if anyone wants to contact me about them! I’ve tubed every single one of them.

Help! What queen is this?
I caught this queen approx. 5 days ago (Last Sunday I think). She is already laying a clutch of eggs and is actively protecting/watching over them! I'm excited because I think she is the first fertile queen I've caught. She is noticeably smaller and shaped a bit differently than the camponotus queen...

Help? - AntsCanada forum SEARCH FUNCTION
Is the AntsCanada forum search function broken or something?? Everytime I attempt to use the search option, it tells me that I cannot search for the chosen word/words because they aren't specific enough or some ****... Really? I can't search for "Formica"? I can't search for "Ohio"?... What is this ...
